By interrogating data and insight, and conversations with a range of partners we have identified a number of priority areas for Wesport to work in.
Our Priority Place working is designed to help us gain insight into the sport and physical activity needs of young people within a local community and to then support these needs by a combination of working with existing providers and helping to fill gaps where appropriate. We look to build relationships and connect like minded individuals and organisations to raise the numbers of young people taking part in physical activity and enjoying the wide range of benefits that this can bring.
Building relationships and gaining trust takes time, Wesport are committed to working in our Priority Places for the foreseeable future and intend to become imbedded in and be seen as a valuable asset to the community.
