Wesport is proud to announce two new Sport Welfare CPD series, with multiple events confirmed and taking bookings until September 2026.
Our Sport Welfare team will be providing a range of free talks for sports club staff and volunteers on a variety of safeguarding and welfare issues. We hope these events will help everyone to make sport a safer place for all.
Details on the calendars, events, and individual booking links can be found below.
All events between now and September 2026 are FREE to attend.
Free recordings are available for certain events. Please refer to individual Eventbrite listings for details.
The “Talking Sport Welfare” series builds on the success of our “An Evening With…” events, providing in-depth talks, training courses, and more on the hot topic issues in welfare, safeguarding, and safe sport.

Matt Walker, one of Wesport's Sport Welfare Officers, said, “2026 is shaping up to be an exciting year. We hope that these calendars will complement our 1:2:1 support offer, creating a holistic package that will allow clubs to put sport welfare and safeguarding at the heart of everything they do. More than anything else, we want this information to be clear, simple, and easily accessible.”
