Coach Development Lead

 

Gloucestershire FA are looking for an individual with passion, energy, and a positive outlook to lead coach development across the county. This role will support, service and develop England Football Accredited clubs to grow and sustain Coaching and Coach Development opportunities. They are looking for someone who is passionate about grassroots football and coach development, who can build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and strategic partners to support the development and delivery of a Coach Development programme. The successful candidate will also play their part in delivery of the Gloucestershire FA Business Strategy, by developing participation activities and alternative education programmes, and also ensure they help to make football safe by supporting delivery of the County FA Safeguarding 365 Operating Standards.

  • Location: Oaklands Park, Almondsbury, Bristol. BS32 4AG
  • Salary: up to £26,000 pa
  • Hours per week: 37.5
  • Vacancy Type: Fixed Term Contract, expiring 30th June 2028

Coach Development Lead & Barclays Girls’ Football Partnership Lead

 

 

Somerset FA, in partnership with SASP, are seeking a passionate and driven individual to lead coach development across the county while driving the growth of girls’ football through the Barclays Girls’ Football Partnership.

This dual role is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact on grassroots football in Somerset by:

  • Supporting clubs to become thriving, sustainable community hubs.
  • Leading high-quality coach development programmes that create positive environments for every player.
  • Delivering innovative opportunities for girls to learn, play, lead, and compete through football in schools and community settings.

You’ll work with a range of stakeholders including coaches, clubs, schools, volunteers, and national partners, helping to shape the future of football for all.

  • Location: Somerset FA HQ, Glastonbury (with some home working and occasional travel to SASP HQ, Wellington)
  • Hours: 35 hours per week (some evenings and weekends required)
  • Contract: Fixed Term until June 2028
  • Salary: £25,000 (starting salary)
