Community Hub & Engagement Worker

 

Wellspring Settlement are looking to recruit a Community Hub & Engagement Worker.

As part of a team of 2 workers and a small team of volunteers, the Community Hub Workers will be responsible for facilitating daily open-space sessions ensuring the service offers a safe and welcoming space for all. Each Community Hub Worker will also lead on either an Events or Community Engagement theme of work. This is the Community Engagement Role.

  • Contract: Fixed term for 1 year
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
  • Location: On-Site / Community Space role and will include 1 evening a week
  • Salary: Scale E pts 22-25 £23,259 – £25,507 per annum pro rata (successful applicants start at the bottom of the scale)

Coach Development Lead & Barclays Girls’ Football Partnership Lead

 

 

Somerset FA, in partnership with SASP, are seeking a passionate and driven individual to lead coach development across the county while driving the growth of girls’ football through the Barclays Girls’ Football Partnership.

This dual role is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact on grassroots football in Somerset by:

  • Supporting clubs to become thriving, sustainable community hubs.
  • Leading high-quality coach development programmes that create positive environments for every player.
  • Delivering innovative opportunities for girls to learn, play, lead, and compete through football in schools and community settings.

You’ll work with a range of stakeholders including coaches, clubs, schools, volunteers, and national partners, helping to shape the future of football for all.

  • Location: Somerset FA HQ, Glastonbury (with some home working and occasional travel to SASP HQ, Wellington)
  • Hours: 35 hours per week (some evenings and weekends required)
  • Contract: Fixed Term until June 2028
  • Salary: £25,000 (starting salary)
