Business Support Officer

We are seeking an enthusiastic & organised individual to join our team & make an impact in this role.
The Business Support Officer will provide support, administration and reporting for key internal functions, systems and processes including for marketing and communications, finance, organisational governance, internal IT and systems, general office management and other administrative tasks to support the work of the Wesport team, including the CEO.
To meet the requirements, you will be someone that likes to complete tasks, looks for variety in their roles, and have gained some experience working in an office environment. This may be your first or second fulltime role following formal education as you develop your career. Place and Communities Officer

We are seeking someone that enjoys working flexibly across a variety of projects and work areas and wants to develop their knowledge & skills in the sport & physical activity sector to join our team.
The role involves raising awareness of the importance of ‘moving more’, physical activity and sport, across places and communities in the West of England. This post will support all stages of the work, including community engagement, project development, project management, reporting, community development and / or sport for development.
Working across the current evolving local focused places, and supporting thematic work, this role requires an understanding of how to influence, organisational skills, flexibility in approach, and the ability to build excellent work-based relationships.

Strategic Lead for Health & Physical Activity

We are seeking an exceptional & dynamic individual to join our team & make an impact in the role. The successful candidate will work closely with and be supported by the Director of Health & Physical Activity, as this role will build on existing connections and manage existing programmes to continue the momentum of progress made so far.
Working across the current evolving local Health systems is complex and requires strategic influencing & advocacy to make an impact, so we are looking for someone with partnership development experience as well as knowledge of working with the health sector.
Successful candidates will possess a real passion for the agenda and a strong fit with Wesport’s values. Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate clearly transferable skills and experiences or draw upon experience gained in an education sector, physical activity, active lifestyles, health or community development role (voluntary or professional).

Leagues & Competitions Development Officer
- Organisation: Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation / Wiltshire Cricket Limited
- Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 per annum pro rata (depending on experience), plus benefits
- Contract: Option 1: Minimum contract, 24 months, 22.5 hours a week (Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation)
- Option 2: Minimum contract, 24 months, 15 hours a week (Wiltshire Cricket)
- Option 3: Minimum contract, 24 months, 37.5 hours a week (Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation & Wiltshire Cricket - split role)
- Closing date: Sunday 10th August 2025
- Interviews are proposed to take place: W/C 18th August 2025

Both Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation and Wiltshire Cricket Limited are in the process of taking over the direct management and organisation of several club competitions that have previously been under the management of voluntary committees. This will represent a new area of focus for both organisations as we take on more direct responsibility for competition management. The handover of responsibility will take place during the 2025-2026 winter in time for the 2026 Cricket season.
The ambition with this role is twofold; primarily to further develop the competitions offer across the county / counties and secondly to make junior and senior cricket as accessible as possible across both winter and summer. The role will involve managing all competitions, with the ambition of growing the number of entries and ensuring a first-class experience.

Community Coordinator
- Organisation: Access Sport
- Salary: £24,000 FTE
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full-time
- Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract, with the intention of becoming permanent
- Location: Hybrid working. Minimum 2 to 3 days in Access Sport’s Bristol office in Origin Workspace - 40 Berkeley Square, Bristol, BS8 1HP

Access Sport is looking for a new Community Coordinator within their growing Changing Places team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the growth of their work across Bristol and deliver on their ambitious growth strategy, with a strong focus on making sport more inclusive and accessible for disabled children and young people in deprived communities.
The post holder will support, train and equip community clubs to offer disability inclusive opportunities. This will include training and upskilling clubs and supporting them through their club development journey, organising taster sessions and events, promoting opportunities to new participants and connecting with the local communities and partners.
