West of England Local Skills Project

This FREE webinar will provide an introduction to the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) and the local skills project taking place in the West of England. The project aims to support local employers with recruitment, retention, training and support for Sport and Physical Activity workforce.

Find out how a number of key stakeholders are working together to ensure local education and training providers offer courses that match employer and workforce need, create a skilled workforce that is inclusive and meet the needs of diverse local communities and give the people who work in sport and physical activity great career pathways.

The webinar will cover:

  • How it can support local businesses with recruitment, retention, support and training.
  • How key stakeholders are working together to ensure local training match employer and workforce needs.

The webinar is aimed at Sport and Physical Activity organisations, such as those who deliver in the following 6 industries: Fitness, Community sport, Performance sport, Leisure, Health and Wellbeing. From sole traders to larger businesses.


The webinar is being held on Wednesday 12th June, from 12.15pm - 1.00pm.
