Wesport is actively supporting primary schools to develop their pupils’ health & wellbeing by working closely with local partners in the 4 Unitary Authority areas. They each run their own equivalent of the Healthy Schools programme, in which schools submit a range of evidence to show there is adequate provision in place to support pupils. Bath & North East Somerset

The Director for Public Health Award recognises and rewards Early Years and educational settings that deliver health and well-being outcomes. To achieve the award schools have to complete two certificates: the Healthy Schools Certificate and the Healthy Outcomes Certificate.  To find out more about this programme please click here

Bristol

Bristol Healthy Schools is an accredited award that schools can obtain by working through a set of criteria covering all aspects relating to health, including Physical Activity and Health & Nutrition. For more information about this programme please visit the website here.
